I have two Sportsman inverter generators, a 1000 watt and a 2200 watt that runs on gas or propane. I am well pleased with both of them.

JIM In Denver has one from HD and I'm thinking it's the same brand.  I have one I bought at HD on his recommendation for two reasons  #1... I trust Jim   #2 I can /could pick it up and carry it in the box with very little problem.  It will be unboxed and cranked up sometime soon. After I study the instructions....of course.

I am thrilled with my little 800/1000 watt Sportsman generator. Starts easy, is very quiet as far as generators go and will even run my 5000 BTU A/C. I actually do not use it for myself often but boy did it make the rounds at Ehrenberg last winter.

The one thing to know is the vents are on the bottom so I have a cookie sheet that I use to keep it from sucking up the dust of the desert

Not a bad price, if you want to take a chance in it. Says parallel cord included...

I have the 2200 watt dual fuel version, run it on propane only and always starts 2nd pull after propane is connected. Typically use it 4-5 days then sits for a couple weeks, then everyday again. Runs maybe a total of 20 minutes 3 times a day.

No issues after about 2 years of use.
