Cell repeater
#1
Not often, but often enough, I get a very weak or even nonexistent signal. I’m tired of it and want to get a booster or repeater or whatchmacallit.

I went to Amazon and noticed they run from $30 to $500 bucks.

I’ve been trying to school myself to understand what I need but I’m getting tired.

Anyone want to chime in? Don’t you have one TX?

Is this while you’re inside or outside of your vehicle?

Same question, and was going to ask if you've considered installing an external (top of roof) antenna? I think that would be the first thing I would try.

Now if they can only remember where they put it.   Rolleyes

Inside and out. I think there are a couple of components? The repeater, cable and antenna?

I guess it depends on the system you're working with? Some are called signal amplifiers.

Here's Chris and Sherrie's video on them.  Kinda boils down to either installing a system in your rig with interior and exterior antenna, or a cradle for a single device.

Huh  So what is it?  I see a flat dark colored thing with a whatcha macallit in the top center of it.  It's hard to learn stuff when you don't speak the language.....well for me it is anyway.

It is an indoor signal amplifier with an outdoor antenna that you point towards the cell tower.
