Ha ha, that caused a real laughing fit: “The tow company told me once...before I set out..just give them a call, they are going to end up taking me there anyway so give them a heads up. GoodSam’s was awful about finding a towing service, but totally great at reimbursement for my out of pocket when I found them.”

Pray tell how GS was willing to tow when you were off-pavement, or were you not?  I’ve read that AAA and others won’t tow or even help if there’s a piece of gravel, sand or dirt on the road... basically...

So you’d recommend GS over the other options? (Mainly AAA RV)
