I’m definately a winter wuss... arthritis complains too much, each old broken bone reminds me.Sometimes I think I'm too set in my ways and should give up on the female company part. I was actually born in North Idaho in Couerdalene and agree thats its the way nicer part of the state. Though Idaho is a lot more varied that you suggest. The large swath east to west that looks like a smiley face across Idaho is the 'desert' as we call it, not legally as it gets a hair more water than the definition but it might as well be. Too hot and dry for anything but cactus and sagebrush. But it's framed by mountains on both sides and those central mountains between me and the north have thousands of lakes in em.
Hope you get VA care and a disability from that service connected accident.
All I remember about Idaho is the beauty of the northern part of the state (around Bonner’s Ferry and Sandpoint), getting much more desolate as you get closer to a Utah, with Pocatello being hot as hell in the summer.
It’s very pretty up in the mts and forests, just too cold and wet for me for winters. But glad you like it, sounds like a great spot. Maybe make yourself a YouTube video of your place and I’ll bet you’d have some female company.
Thanks for coming on over!
