Roadtrek Questions on reno - Kyz - 04-03-2023
I'm considering buying a 2003 Roadtrek Popular 200 with twin beds in the back. Will it be possible to remove one or both beds? What's under the beds? I can't find information on that anywhere (at least my searches have failed me).

image searching a popular 200, looks like there are exterior access hatches behind the wheels. Whats in there, the generator?
If so the bed frame itself might be covering that and a fair amount of noise/heat insulation

I have a 2000 Versatile 200. It is all storage under the beds accessible From the outside hatches. The generator is underneath the floor between the frame rails Along with the Propane tank. I got the versatile because of the Across the back bed with a drawer underneath and the large 5.3 ft³ Refrigerator.. There is a lot of storage in a 200. The popular may have the power center and some other stuff under there.
Removing a bed will open the space to the outside hatch and probably greatly reduce resale value. The outside hatch hinge is just below bed level and there is a dropped storage space underneath outside the frame rail.

Forgot, I strongly recommend to use it as it came for quite awhile before making wholesale changes. These are really well thought out vehicles. This the one in Klamath Falls? 35k is way to much more like 25k

Yep it's most likely outdoor storage from a video tour I finally found. I don't like how the dump tanks/valves are set up on this year/model so I'm going to keep looking. But I do like the roadtreks.
