Actually to me it sounds like the interior rubber weather seals are no longer pliable and are making noise as they drag on a vinyl floor.

Is the squeaking/squalling sound coming from the floor area? Or maybe you have carpet and this is completely wrong?

I'm going to make a real effort in the next week or so to lubricate the weather seals a lot better than I've been doing. All that I can see look fine, but I normally only take care of the sides. I'm old and have wrecked my knees on a fall years ago and don't like to crawl around on the ground under the slide.  Blush

Today's slide update...

On 30 amp shore power, the slide went out and back in just fine. Then later, brought the slide(s) back out on the generator. Again, no issues.

I really don't know or understand. I'm lost. I got some more pictures of the "dual motor synchronous velocity slide controllers" (in outdoor storage compartments) for each slide. I plan to do a little research...but my main concern is that they are truly fine and act right if someone is looking at the RV.

Shorepower or generator means higher DC voltage reaching motors and all.works.well.

14 volt vs 12, or less at battery, and 12 at dc motor vs 9.

2.solutions, never move.slide.without ahorepower or generator.running,,
or fatten wiring from batteries to motors.

Lubing thjngs can help but as.to how much,...unknown.

Look.for.a kink, when one side.is open.1/2", is the other side open 1 inch?
Is.so this can put majority stress on one motor.

yea shore power or genny power is a slide difference than when I run it on the battery.
on battery it is slower, 'seems noiser' or draggin' or sluggy but it works and gets out fine but it isn't a huge diff. but one's ear catches that little bit something is off kinda feeling.....I find I wait til hubby hooks up shore power or flips on genny before running slide. I prefer that over batt power definitely.

oh boy Kyz I get ya on crawling on knees. not for this ol' chick any more too Smile ugh
