Moving into van in 10 days! - bandaidqueen - 07-18-2019

Hello everyone! I've been working on my van for about a month and a half, have gotten the rust treated and a floor installed, and have just started the insulation. I will be moving in in about 10 days which is much sooner than I anticipated. Needless to say it will not be finished by then and I'll be working on it and living in it at the same time, which will be a fun challenge. I work 6 days a week and don't have a lot of time, so it will be an interesting experience to say the least. Anyway, if anyone has any experience with working full time while living in a van, I'd love to hear from you!

I forgot to mention, I have a 2000 Ford Econoline E250. I got a great deal on it - only 2K! Low miles for the year, only 100K miles, and only needed some minor repair work to be drivable (got a new radiator and hoses and such for $500). It could use more repairs, but it's okay for now.

Thanks everyone! I am in Georgia, in the greater Atlanta area. I have two jobs and not much time to travel so I'll be pretty stationary for now. It does get somewhat hot and humid here, this summer is supposed to be especially hot, but I deal with heat better than cold so I think I'll be okay. Anyway I guess time will tell. :-P
