Inverter Question - Gunny - 10-07-2017

I have bought and already received an Aims 1200 watt inverter. This is one that connects to the entire system. I am thinking I may have made the wrong choice.

It has no outlets, but feeds all the outlets in the rv if not hooked to AC or generator. Perhaps those with more knowledge can tell  me if I should exchange it for another or if they think it will be okay.

Thanks,

Rob

My seat of the pants reply is 1200 watts seems a bit light for powering all your outlets. What is the biggest thing you're planning on plugging in? How many things will you plug in, and what is their consumption? Keep in mind that one microwave can draw 1200 watts by itself.
Here's a power consumption calculator that may help. Keep in mind I'm no electrician, but if we're lucky Sternwake may pop in.

I have a generator for my microwave or bigger items. I don't use a lot except that, no blow dryers or heaters. I suppose I can try it for awhile and go bigger if I have to. It's supposed to switch automatically if another outside source like a generator or plugging in happens. If I get my panels in the morning all I need is the wiring and someone to do the install if Getsmart is still hurt.

Rob, he said he can do the install with that inverter it's just more wiring and depends on what you'd like and where things are in your camper. Call him when you get the chance. He tried to call you.

He will still do your install. If his wounds ever quit weeping he will be ok. We are both blistered but functioning well.

I took a nap until my soon to be ex neighbors decided I needed to listen to some rap music. Going to check out the panels early in the morning, the guy has church all day past 11.

UGG, Horrible stuff. Don't the managers do anything about that sort of thing?

They will if someone complains, I don't actually care since it's a weekend and early. Gets me out of bed tho.

The Tiger Claw PSW Inverter is amazing!
knurlgnar24  is one of the most experienced inverter experts on Youtube.
He has reviewed and actually measured the performance of many inverters both MSW and PSW.

I do not know if this Ebay ad is the real deal for $199.

If it is genuine, it would be a great bargain.

Thanks for the link, mostly I'm curious about the way my inverter is configured. I should have done more research.
