Very cheap sleeping bag - TWIH - 07-29-2018

I was looking for an inexpensive bag and found this on Walmart.com: yep, its $15!
Look it up, Amazon has the same bag for 2X the price... remember sleeping bag temp ratings aren’t accurate.

garage sales are great places to pick up all kinds of camping gear for cheap

Thats true.
I was surprised that a $15 bag would be even “summer 60 degree” rated.
I read about 20 reviews and nothing seemed bad, and the reviews were too wordy to be faked.

Except for used sleeping bags.  I can't begin to go ewwww enough.  Makes no difference how many times it is washed it is still ewwwww to me.  I couldn't even bring myself to use truck stop towels in the showers.  I know they get washed but I also know where those towels have been so again ewwww.  I'm not a germaphobe I'm a other people's DNAsampleaphobe.

Ha ha. I just hope they are still as cheap in late December/early January when I will make a long trip from the PNW back to the Carolinas. I need a cold weather bag. I know that type and quality of bag alone won’t handle 20 degrees F temps but its an affordable start.
