Naming things isn't something that I feel uses songwriting skills.
More a marketing thing ?
I actually have a catalog of songs.
Many written about people I have met , ballad style.
Many "pirate" somebody's tune ,but with my version of the lyrics , like Weird Al did.
Some very flattering , some ....not so much (weird thing is those were the most popular )
The actual process is difficult to explain,,,,,,so I won't , nobody would believe me anyway.
Think , the continuing story Bungalo Bill .
My fave was one I wrote about Saddam , it was actually a Christmas carol .................

While I didn't ever gain international sales (I sure wish Y Toob was around back in the 80s !) , I did sell many copies of the albums I released.
A lot by friends of the "honored" persons .............
Bought myself a recording studio of gear with it.
