RE: I'll start this one - Art - 09-28-2017 of course it does, what else didja expect? If you need rain at any time and you live in my area, just have me go buy some bit of moto gear, guaranteed rain for a week
RE: I'll start this one - Gunny - 09-28-2017 These are the solar panels, they'll be in tomorrow. I have room for two. https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/eld/d/hanwha-solar-panels/6312448242.html I'm not sure if I screwed up or not, I bought an Aims Pure sine wave 1250 watt , this model; https://theinverterstore.com/product/1200-watt-pure-sine-inverter-with-transfer-switch-12-vdc-to-120-vac-10ft-cord-copy/ It does not have outlets, it feeds the trailers outlets when not hooked up to electrical.. Do you think I screwed up? Actually too late to ask but buyers remorse is a terrible thing. Rob I'll start this one - Cammalu - 09-29-2017 Rob, Gotsmart's said he'd look in a bit. It's his turn to drive and we are on the redwoods about an hour from our final destination - freaking finally. I need rest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: I'll start this one - Gunny - 09-29-2017 Travel safe... I sort of figured out how the thing works, it may take a bit more involved wiring than a regular inverter but it's only money, right? I'll start this one - Cammalu - 09-29-2017 Yeah, but he can save you bunches by making the wire hook ups himself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: I'll start this one - Gunny - 09-29-2017 I hope so. I looked up the connections on the solar panels, they are fairly common. The specialized crimper is a steal at 150 bucks though. RE: I'll start this one - Scott7022 - 09-29-2017 Rob I am sure he has one of the pro version crimpers you can steal for an afternoon. If not I have seen lots of cheap "good for one job" crimpers online. The wire yourself rather than plug into socket is better as they don't pop out it is the same as mine in that regard. RE: I'll start this one - rvpopeye - 09-29-2017 Gunny , that inverter is fine . Will supply ~10 amps If you put it next to the breaker box you can just pull a outlet feed wire off a breaker and hook it to the inverter OR it can feed it's own special outlet installed anywhere to just be used when you're off grid... I'd lean towards the second choice. (and I (or someone else with the clue) can walk you through electrical outlet source and installation from here ,,,, OH Ayuh !) I'll start this one - Cammalu - 09-29-2017 He has crimpers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
