Today I got a notification from the “old” forum that someone had started a conversation with me. 



I still have friends there so I opened it.

Really?  SPAM?  

What ever happened to honest information being freely shared between people?  

If anyone wants a YARC sticker I will even pay for the stamp.

I got the same spamy email, and it's not the first time I've got a message begging for money.

I want one of those stickers! Hopefully when I get to meet ya'll face 2 face one day!

It wasn't an email for me, it is an icon labeled "Conversation", and I have had two "conversations", both begging for money.

Did they finally come up with a van life decal that was acceptable to the herd of individuals?

I haven’t been on there in forever. I barely have any time for this forum, and I am a founding member.

To Be Clear I was talking about the Son/Daughter of Bob Wells' site. Not this spin off here.

On my cell phone I keep getting poorly worded texts [think Nigerian 401 princes, except with really effed up language skills] about my [Amazon(I do have)/Netflix(I do not have)] account having been locked down because of hacker activity or some other type of scum. I delete the texts without remorse.

Wayne, I get those text messages about my netflix and venmo accounts being locked. I don't have netflix or venmo so jokes on them. I do report as junk, not that it does any good.

As for the beggar messages, I had a PM from southbound and also got an email notification because she/he/it is an admin/owner.

Serial spam. 

CRVL started with the best of intentions. Then it went to a for profit format. What happened to helping people that needed it?
