I need a laptop, need advise.
#1
I want to get a laptop computer, I`m not real computer savvy, so I want something fairly easy to use.
I do a lot of web surfing, a lot of buying on ebay and amazon, and watch a lot of youtube videos.

I want a laptop, not a tablet.

Any help from you guys would be appreciated.

I would recommend Dell. Stay away from ACER and HP. If you are a COSTCO member they have great deals.

So you have a max $$$ you wish to spend?

I would like to be in the five hundred dollar range, but I can go a little higher if needed.

$500 at COSTCO. I was looking at this just a few days ago. I am going to have to limp by with my old laptop for a while, but if I could swing it I would be buying this. I purchased laptops as part of my last job, they were for social workers, and got pretty beat up. Dell was always the best at warranty work, lasting and taking a beating.

Yes, the repair shop should be able to get into the old laptop.

I’ve never had or used that one, but Lenovo is a good and dependable brand.

They would both run the same software, so that wouldn’t be different. The Lenovo has a bigger screen I believe, if a bigger screen is something you would like.
