media portrays RVers as losers
#1
There's a thread on CRVL about the book Nomadland.  On at least 2 posts so far  they were "edited" because they over quoted the post they were responding to.  I wonder what that job pays?  Of course the moderator is un- named.  If I'm gettin' smacked down I like to know who's doin' the smackin'.

Worth noting that there is no rule on that forum about "over quoting" and no rule justifying locking threads because a "moderator" doesn't like the thread. Editing your post without making it explicit is a form of fraud, and not allowing people to remove their content on that site when the site is in breach of its own ToS is a violation of the DMCA. But nobody on the ownership or moderation team over there is bright.

The reasons cited above have a lot to do with why Gary started this site. BTW, Gary pays us quite well. I also sell bridges when I get a chance.  Tongue

Wow. Techno do you personally know any of the moderators? I only know one but he didn’t sound like a ditz to me. In any event it’s not our forum and they get to do as they please. Personally I don’t care one bit. I think too much emphasis is being placed on an on line forum. It’s just entertainment after all.

I like the camaraderie of the smaller forum. I’m so glad I got to meet so many of you and I hope to meet many more.

Edzachery! Big forums have their place, but I like hanging out in smaller forums.
