I mean commercially produced RV, motorhomes and travel trailers?  What kind?  How thick?

Just curious.  Another passing thought...
The Barths had fiberglass batts. Not sure about the others.
Looks like reg old fiberglass to me

My Tioga Class C has two-inch walls, so not much.  After I removed the carpet and drove down the highway for a few hours what I noticed is the floor was warm in spots...
When I rebuilt the interior of my last rv, I found a little fiberglass insulation in some places and none in other places
were there should have been some.
I was wondering, because people say that cars are insulated, but all I found in mine was some 1/16" foam sheeting that, wadded up, wouldn't have kept a mouse warm.  If a person built their own vardo or trailer, I'll bet anyone here could do a better job than the "professionals" do.  Dodgy   And tighter.
My old 1987 Itasca had foam board insulation in the walls and ceiling, but carpet and a rubber coating for the wood floor.

Blacktank

whatever provides the best profit margin

mine had token spray foam in a couple places and pink fiberglass stuffed in a couple hole,i did full 2 part spray foam, giant single plane side windows and windshield are my big problems now
When I first got it, mine had Corning pink insulation....the studs and roof were total rot.
It all depends on the insulation package that was installed. 4 season is the best package offered.
