I am having problems getting trailer brakes installed on my 2011 Chevy Express 2500.
Camping World said there was a problem and was going to get an original wiring diagram.
That was almost a month ago.

Going to take it to a rv repair place in Flagstaff, they can do a third party trailer brake install, but if there is a problem, they cant do anything.

How can I get results instead of excuses?

see what these people say
If the van does not have the factory tow package then most likely you will need to install a relay and a fuse under the hood in a dedicated, but un-used fuse location, to make it all work with the aftermarket brake controller. There should already be a socket under the dash for that controller.
Have you tried a Chevrolet dealer?
Yeah, it doesn’t have the factory tow package. The dealer tried to install the wiring but something was conflicting. That’s what I need to solve in order to get the trailer brake wiring installed.

Thanks for the recommendation Gary. I’m going to an rv repaire place tomorrow, if they can’t do it I’ll start turning over every stone looking for someone who knows what they ate doing.
Try staying in a campground and ask people with trailers .
You'll eventually find someone that knows the best place or know how to hook it up themself.
Did you do a google search on installing on your vehicle?
Not understanding what's so complex- maybe the new canbus systems?

They won’t do anything. I’m getting tired of people with their head up their ass. I hope they can get fixed tomorrow. Dang this is frustrating.
BTW, now that I’m ranting, Camping World sucks!
Gee, why would a GM dealer want to fix a late model GM product?  Thats novel... I guess they need to remember what the sign that says S E R V I C E means. Confused

Yeah, I thought it was about service too. But unless there are factory installed towing package installed, they can’t touch it. But a third party, someone without their head up their ass, can fix it.
