My off-topic comment was a tongue-in-cheek jab at the tight reins kept on thread drift on that OTHER board we know so well.

It's refreshing to see normal conversation, with it's ebb and flow...I have always welcomed thread drift in any thread I start, unless Thor's hammer prevents it.

Nice to know that the hammer over here is more of the 'velvet hammer' variety.

It wasn't in the rules but one poster was asked to get lost with all his "questionable info overflow".
I'm very confident GARY will apply corrective measures when he thinks we need it and let it go when we don't.
