The Garage
#1
I've been cleaning out the garage and going through boxes for four days.  I'm finding stuff that I've never seen before!  I'm finding stuff that I can't even identify as to what it is!  It must be junk that my brother stashed in here.  He is the worst hoarder on the planet, but he's also bad about storing it on other people's property and then just leaving it there.  He's so bad that he pays money for junk, and then sets it down and never uses or even thinks of it again.  What was he planning to do with a patio umbrella with the pole cut off?

At least I had another full load to take to the dump.  Already working on the next load.  *sigh*

I wish my back was in better shape.  And my patience.

My father had it bad, also.  I attributed it to growing up in the depression.  Never throw anything away, because you never know when you might need something like it, and you'll probably not have the money to actually buy one.

But then, my younger brother has it bad, also, and he certainly didn't live through the depression.  He sometimes brings more junk back from the dump than he takes there.

So, the eternal question:  Nature or Nurture?

Is it genetically hereditary, or is it something he learned by observing our father?
Regards

John

I don't like to make advance plans.  It causes the word PREMEDITATED get thrown around in the courtroom!
I'm NOT crazy!  My mother had me tested! Cool

The problem is most folks can't tell the difference between useful and useless scrap. There is a difference. Good luck getting the garage sorted out. I've made many trips dropping stuff off to Goodwill. They got professional sorter outers.
