My Internet Radio Station

Looks like you'll need one of those multi-tasking apps to open multiple windows. Not familiar with android but this seems like it would work or something similar. Looks like there are a few apps that do the same thing.

I think you'll need that multi-tasking app as well. Open one browser for the front page music and then another browser to come here to the forum.

Yayyyyy!!! The genre gets changed daily when and if I have the playlists built. Tomorrow is supposed to be 90's/grunge/new music but it isn't ready yet so I'll put on the Big Album playlist again. These dang playlists are a royal pain in the butt to build.

BUMP!

Because....

One of my favorite online stations is The Knuckle. KNKL. A little 'pirate radio station' in the SW corner of South Dakota, USA.

I have actually been to this little radio station in Sturgis. Got a couple of T-shirts to prove it!

It's inside The Knuckle Saloon...and it streams live during the rally and the rest of the year, it's automated.

Whats cool is that they also broadcast on 1710 AM...100 milliwatts. You can hear this station in and around downtown Sturgis on a normal car or bike radio. During the rally, they have a huge PA system, broadcasting the music out to all the rally-goers on Main Street in Sturgis.

Also, during Bike Week, they simulcast on several powerful FM broadcast stations around the Black Hills, including Rapid City.

The Genre is all kinds of music from the last 50 years, mostly rock and roll, classic rock, and some pop and other stuff sprinkled in for good measure. Mostly ad-free, but during the rally they have lots of commercials, including some very humorous Budweiser commercials.

www.knkl.net

I've been listening to it for years...and of course the last 2 weeks or so, non-stop...but the rally is over now, so it's back to automated.

Give it a listen!
