ol...wow...just saw this...checking in today to announce another round of snow heading towards us again....Apparently when your notice was posted, I was outside driving the tractor and moving a pile of wood scraps and doing miscellaneous other chores....I happen to see her going over the nearby bridge while I was driving the tractor....I started waving and she did make it here OK...
Heron and I had a nice visit and now she is once again on the way west and south....good thing too because we are expecting several inches of snow here over the next day or so.
Miss Heron and Stuey left a little pinch of Ed's ashes here...just beneath one of the YARC rocks:
We visited the local Swisher County Museum...they have a lot of cool old 'stuff' in there:
And just before departing she stood still for half a minute:
When Heron and Stuey drove away, Cammie (my little dog) was left wondering where her good friends had gone. She would not return to me...I had to go out and carry her back up to the porch.
The rest of the day she was depressed and stayed in bed all day....she gets emotionally attached to good people.
But in a day or so she will be back to normal.
