I like Chris. I remember conversations way back when he decided to build his own lithium battery system when they got the converted bus. Smart guy.

"Starlink Better Than Nothing Beta
This is your official invitation to participate in Starlink's Better Than Nothing Beta program! This invitation expires on Dec. 22, 2020.
Expect data speeds to vary from 50Mb/s to 150Mb/s and latency from 20ms to 40ms over the next several months. There will also be brief periods of no connectivity at all.
As we launch more satellites, install more ground stations and improve our networking software, data speed, latency and uptime will improve dramatically. For latency, we expect to achieve 16ms to 19ms by summer 2021.
The Starlink phased-array user terminal, which is more advanced than what’s in fighter jets, plus mounting tripod and wifi router, costs CA$649 and the monthly subscription costs CA$129.
If this sounds good to you, order now."
Hmmm, I don't think that I am that desperate, so I will pass.

649/129 per month. When I think about the old Bogan systems or even the Iridium sat linked to cell phone or hotspot devices prices and bandwidth prices... such a bargain. Again limited use if you are a five miles to marked road “overlander”. But for those that are really out there and need the connectivity this is like getting a rolls Royce for the price of a Toyota.
But not everyone needs a RR.

Side note about Starlink.
Recently there was a mass sighting of UFO's in the NYC area. No images were forthcoming.
Some non abductees described a bunch of lights shooting across the sky.
One commenter mentioned that it might have been a Starlink flyover.
