Gila Bend
Sonoran Desert Natl Monument - quite serene in that it was just Gypsy, Trav & I (I think a whole 4 ATV drove past the entire time). We were on the N side of I 8 & the ATV came from across the hiway. Lots & lots of places to camp - tho u might not care for hiway sounds - sounds like surf to me, but I have hearing loss. MM 124 - there are other entrances as well.

I 8 xit 119, for the bypass: small truck stop/trvl cntr - has free water/dump & a few dumpsters; showers $7.50; small RV park @ $19/nite; propane refill & overnight parking in the lot avail free; subway; block & chip ice; a pet relief area, fairly well shaded (not fenced, but has poop bags) w/dinosaurs!
2!! Stinkin' Badges
And the road leads ever onward
Went to third grade in Gila Bend, the Space Age diner was always fun. Big Grin
