Ed's journey
#21
And all the best to you Heron...

If at all possible during your westward travels in the future, of course you will be welcome here at Winford Station in Tulia (about an hour south of Amarillo) any time of year and for any length of time. I'm sure you would be welcome to stay up at Kens place again if that would be easier during travel along I-40....you know you always have friends here!

My condolences to you, I never got to meet him but it sounds like he was one of a kind. Let your memories guide you forward and know that his road in another realm has just begun and when the time comes he can show you the ropes.

Double what Doug said. My 2 favorite Ed stories: last winter at camp, several weeks after the campfire episode, we were sitting around outside about dusk. Ed had a difficult day and was a little more wobbly than usual, he stood up to go to the van where Lis was and I stood up, lightly took his arm and said please don’t fall, I would have to throw my body down to cushion the fall, he gave me the silliest smile and said “don’t give me any ideas”! Miss you both so much..

My little furbaby would wait every morning for Liz, Ed, and Stewie to open the door....she loved to hang out with you guys....

(might have been the food but I think it was the snuggles...)
