Pics (and maybe progress) of my RV

That is done to distribute the fresh lubricant evenly on the unseen surfaces.

The lubricant can dry somewhat or drip away overnight.

The slide toppers can get screwed up as well, which can prevent the slide's proper operation. Someone experienced this at the RV park that I am in, as well as someone else had the slide stuck out.

For me, a slide is not worth having more points of failure. Keep it simple.

kinda think of it like going to the dentist

tiny ache, hmmm maybe something on but not bad.....do you wait for it to get worse and get that possible root canal issue or is it easier to have the dentist fix a small issue fast and cheaper LOL

when you think there is a slide issue and you 'get that gut feeling' it could go more south on ya sooner than later, that hr. drive and a few bucks might be well worth the trip ya know-----but that is going against what you are dealing with and what your guts tell ya.

we opted out of slide topper. I figured it would just get nailed in storm or something so we just go up on the roof and sweep the 1 slide we got if we are in a more tree area....if in open area like the beach near no trees etc we don't bother going up on the roof.
