Passport & drivers license... BS...
#21
I think they are supposed to send my "real" ID but I have to wait on the birth certificate that has my parents name on it before I can apply for a passport. I wonder if my parents birth certificates are any good they were born at home...

If one already has a passport, then is a "real" ID optional?

Who knows? If you have been divorced a bunch of times and you have a passport it saves trouble at the BMV if you have the passport. At least the BMV lady says so.

Sure it's optional. A drivers license is normally with you all the time. A passport? Not mine. I don't like to fly anymore or want to go into federal buildings but if I did I wouldn't eant to have forgotten the passport and get turned away or down. I think it works for getting back from mexico but not sure.

If you have been married 4 or 5 times you have to take in all the marriage licenses. The drivers license place said it’s easier to get a drivers license upgrade if you have a passport...
