Capulin Volcano Natl Monument is pretty interesting - I walked to the bottom, back to the top & all around the rim. When I got back to the van, Gypsy turned her back on me. She can be very expressive. Unfortunately, I can't leave Mr Trav by himself coz he stands on the horn
Folsom - the museum is rather quaint & the couple who run it very friendly & knowledgeable. The town never really recovered from the 1908 (or maybe 1912) flood. There's a monument to the telephone operator who drowned calling to alert the residents - it was paid for w/4000+ dimes donated by other telephone operators across the country & there's a period switch board on display. A couple of Sears & Roebuck kit houses are still standing in town.
Johnson's Mesa - absolutely gorgeous drive; felt like I was on top of the world. Beautiful M.E. church, circa 1896, still active
Sugarite Canyon SP - e coli alert on water. Old mining town ruins. Beautiful
