In case people missed it, Tigger passed on right before Halloween last year. He was 19 1/2 years old. He died in his sleep in bed with me at his side. First he brought home a kitten to take care of me. TC (Tiggers cat) has the routine down. She jumps from the highest point possible onto my stomach when I least expect it. She wakes me up several times a night to get scritches. I am informed when the bottom of the cat food bowl is seen. Even when it is just one tiny spot in a bowl 3/4 full. She takes over chairs. When we are ready to travel, she hides. At dinner time she is the food quality inspection agent.
Last but certainly not least, TC has the stink~eye down pat.
Compared to parenting, Cat herding is less complicated

Camilla’s dog Sam is living dangerously. Today when she came in she forgot to ask permission from TC.
That earned her a warning hiss. TC followed her to the couch with the stink eye going. Sam discovered something outside of the window and stared at it until the cat moved on. Then she curled up and closed her eyes. If you can’t see the cat you are invisible and won’t get hurt.
Even Tony bullies Sam and takes her blankets.
