Just add a trailer hitch and a canned ham. Beautiful car.

I grew up riding in my Grandparents 1955 navy and white 4 door Buick Special that they had bought in the fall of1954. I like those big old mostly steel cars with monster chrome bumpers and grills.

I took my drivers license test in Dallas Tx in it and even paralleled parked without knocking over any cones.  I sold it to my brother in law after Mama passed away.  It still had the heavy clear plastic seat covers on it and looked nearly new,  They sure don't build 'em like that anymore.

Ratfink: Until she sells her property and can afford to buy a canned ham, she and Q could sleep quite comfortably in the trunk.

I loved some of the old cars, and the Nash's, Ramblers, and Studebaker's had reclining front seats that would lay down flat and turn the whole interior into a giant bed. Traveled the country in them, and unless I wanted a swimming pool, never needed a motel. Those were the days....

I saw one of those old parade floats (convertible) a couple of months ago in the local grocery parking lot. Beautiful! His was red, he said his wife's is blue and white.

I'm old enough to remember when car brands tried to make their cars different and distinctive, instead of all looking alike as they do now.
