That's good enough for me! One time at a weigh station was enough!!!
I was very, very fortunate to be assigned a brand new fleet vehicle that day; there's no chance the others would have passed.
He ripped the truck apart. And cited me for a fabricated offense, it took a lawyer and three, yes, three court appearances before the prosecutor said the tag wasn't prosecutable. The patrolman said, 'Oh, I must've been mistaken.'

My brother told me they are always this brutal- always trying to tag a vehicle for something, sometimes a fabricated or mis-applied regulation. I recall where one tried to tag him for a mud flap the patrolman 'thought' was in violation. My brother had the regulation, and insisted he speak to his supervisor.

The phrase 'County Mountie collecting bounty' rang in my head. Older vehicles that dwellers usually have would be ripe for their picking.
