On sale now at H Depot(generator)

I now have the 2200 Sportsman after a donated gallon of gas was much older than I was told resulting in the 800 watt needing a carb cleaning. The 2200 is just as nice as the 800 was and can run both of my air conditioners plus more without complaining. Well worth the $369 I paid even if I wish that I had not been cheap and bought the dual fuel version for $90 more. A 20 pound propane tank can run one 5000 BTU A/C for a long time between refills.

I bought this one for $249/shipped & couldn't be happier & it's parallel capable with cables included https://www.samsclub.com/p/sua2300i-2300...roduct_1_1. Also this Sportsman from Home Depot that weighs 19# 1,000/800-Watt Gasoline Powered Digital Inverter GeneratorQty: 1$149.00 https://www.homedepot.com/s/Internet%252...-PL?NCNI-5 I've seen both madels under different names & labels so I'm not worried if I need a part later on. Black friday isn't far off when prices are low till the end of the year.

Sounds like a lot of inexpensive generators, inverters, etc are getting much better quality control. I bought the Honda 2200i last year new for $650. A guy I new ran his Honda everyday off grid living for 12 years and it was still going when last I saw him. However, with more expensive equipment I’m concerned about theft. So in future I’m going to just buy the stuff people are not so tempted to walk off with.
I recently sold my kubota marine diesel generator so the downsizing to simplicity is in progress.

I have a low hour Onan diesel Genset from a firetruck I need to sell also as well as several other Onans from 2.5 to 7.5 but I'm not giving them away on craigslist & they're too hard to ship.

The specialty items like my kubota or your onan diesels might take a while to sell so the sooner you get them on Craigslist the better. It took 2-3 months on mine.
Back to the original post. I’ve heard good things about the Sportsman generator. Are there any other in the under $500 range worth considering? Thanks
