Since I am driving all over the USA, I have been hunting for apps that have good information.
The Utah DOT app (UDOT) is very good. They update the site from the camera about every 20 minutes...the weather forecast is good. I noticed the wind predictions were not so good...but, the NOAA app is excellent for wind.
The Colorado app is lousy. They don’t seem to update the road condition very often. The cameras seem to always show clear roads...even when you are sitting in a long back up.
Anyone know of other road condition apps that they use and recommend? Please don’t post apps you have not used, the one I downloaded that was recommended was that one from Colorado...it is unusable! the weather site poster later admitted he never tried it
