I70....Salina ...etc
I crossed the entire great state of Kansas on I70.   Eeeck!   All 450 miles of it!

Stayed at rest areas along the way.   Kansas welcomes RV and trucks...overnight, no problem. 
All the rest areas I stayed at (3 altogether) had RV tank dump stations and trash dumps.   

The trick is to park along the drive through the dump area...if you park in the regular spots you will park with the trucks and that is noisy, plus they may not like you there because a trucker might need that spot.  Even if you are able to fit into the car will find it is still too close to the trucks...and they are noisy all night long.

These were nice places.

Used to deliver those black plastic car battery cases to Exide in Salina. Spent many nights at the Pilot truck stop.
