We love Bertha. She is a little bit big for some applications. Being that she is the plain white people mover she is more stealth than a schoolie. We average 10 mpg. She has a gas v-10 so most mechanics can work on her. Alignments and tires are more costly, but last longer than a POV. Our next vehicle will be a newer 5 or 6 window short bus. Bertha DOES have a stiff ride. The emergency exit is a very cool star gazing platform. I also like that she is built with the HD chassis and frame. We bought her at 160k miles, with all pertinent maintenance records. So we know she was well looked after as well. I would be happy to answer any other questions you have. Point is we really do love Bertha, she has made a great first home for Toni and I and our separation will be very bitter.
