...9 mpg around town with lots of elevation changes...

That part made me pause, I've lived where it's flat for so long I forget there are urban areas with hills.

Climbing fairly steep  hills  from the redlight in a valley, only having to stop again before crest is reached, does a number on MPG's.  Getting a few greens in a row is very much appreciated.

I think my around town Mileage on the gulf coast of Florida, Not on I-75, was about 12.5 to 13.

Guess I should have mentioned I have the Dodge LA318 V8 engine. 5.2 liter displacement.

Lumpy is a 06, GMC one ton Uhaul w/131,000, 4 speed auto w/HD overdrive, 4.8L (283 ci) V-8 w/285 hp and 4:10 gears. Interstate around 13.5 - 14 mpg, usually a steady 65 mph. Stop and go around 12.
Since I mostly do backroads I see the number 12 pretty often.
