Putts putts in Putt. (pic heavy)

Wow!

Hey, as a side note, I LOVE my tube audio...it's one thing I'm gonna miss if and when I can make the transition to full time houseless-ness.

I get a kick out of that guy on The Tech Guy, on Twit, Scott, something or other....wow he sure knows alot about audio, and yet, rarely ever talks about tube audio.

I've derailed too many other threads, so I will stop right there, but just wanted to say what a cool job it seems...enjoying music and getting to write about the ways we listen to it.

Well, the timing seems good...Putt is nearly completed, housing prices are up, weather is good for travel, and diesel engines are ONLY 20 grand...

Well then, decided it was time for a little elevation...about 9000' of it.

Dart definitely pays attention.

He walks in front, i follow the little black dot.

Pretty nice front yard, eh Dart?

20 miles of dirt road in and out was interesting. Lot of logging/forest work happend on it last year; bulldozers ground it up a good bit. Some of the very tight, steep turns on loose pack on the way out had my five-day-without-a-shower ass puckering up way more than was comfortable.

It really is, Cammie. Here's a google maps link.

The Gravely Range road runs North-South along the top of a wide rolling mountain range. Maybe 30 miles of road at around 8-9000 feet. Eagles, marmots, moose, deer, bear, you name it...though I didn't see but a few Red Tail hawks while up there this time. Daytime highs were in the low 70s, not sure about the lows at night, but there were a few pockets of frost in the early morning. Bugs were pretty minimal at that elevation.

Got in some ukulele playing...such as it is. I'm pretty rusty. Quite a bit of reading. Three or four walks a day with Dart.

Just lovely.
