My New RV.
#31
I was coming to this conclusion as well, I need some shelves.
Next time I can get to walmart I will see what I can find.

The shelves you have Cammalu would be perfect for what I need.

I've seen her shelves at the home improvement stores. You can get them really long and then just cut them to size with a hacksaw etc.

Shadow I wish you were closer as I’d love to show you all the different improvements we’ve made. You basically have the same layout as we do.

One thing we just did as we headed in to Colorado was to buy 1/2 polyiso and cut to fit the back of all the cabinets. It made a difference. We also bought an insulating material with one side reflective Mylar and the other a bit of insulating padding. I bought some strong magnets and sticky back magnet tape and I will see some window coverings. So far I’ve just been thinking about it and it seems I stay pretty busy even though I’m supposed to be retired

We put 500 watts of solar on the roof, got rid of the dinette and put a sofa, installed a TV in the back, took out the swivel chair and put in a wall higher recliner in its place. We put a 5” square pic fence post and zip tied it under the camper for the sewer hose. That way it’s easier to get to and we have more room in the storage bin and it’s not touching anything. We are dragging a trailer so we’re able to buy a few of those blue water containers so when we get water we can get a lot more. We also bought a tiny 12v water pump we use to pump the water in. I think that cost about $20.

Installed a few 12v plugs here and there.

I like the interior layout of my RV, so I don`t plan on making any changes there.
I am also looking at adding about 200 watts of solar in the future, I only have two house
batteries, and no room to add anymore.

I still need to get some insurance on the RV, any suggestions ?.
I just want basic full coverage and towing.

I saw a guy that BW interviewed. He is a full time nomad. He was telling the in's and out's of insurance coverage for vandwellers etc. . He mentioned that most nomads do not have the proper insurance on their rigs. He was also an agent. Offered to answer questions for other nomads whether you bought insurance through him or not. Hope this helps.   David

p.s. I would put the link on here. But IDK if that's acceptable...plus..I'm at work on the company wifi. It is restricted and won't let me go to YT website. If you don't find it the vid send me a PM and I'll find it when I get off work today.

Let me see if I can get enough signal to my cell in the office. If so, I'll turn on my wifi for a minute and get the link to post.
