Hey Welcome to this board and thanks for coming over! It is annoying to have someone that created such useful content get hammered and then told "I don't care who it is". Really? Glad to see you and looking forward to your posts.

Glad you got to spend good times with your father. You certainly miss them when you can't anymore.

RE: Hey all - sternwake - 09-24-2017

If any of you get a chance to see the total eclipse in 2024 whose path goes from Texas to New england, I recommend doing so.

Here is my best Pic taken just as the sun started peeking back out.

I'd also recommend not spending the ~90 seconds of totality trying to capture a photo of it, and a cheap tripod that will not stop shaking might perhaps deserve to be launched into low earth orbit.

SW,

Good to see you ... and everything everybody else said. :-)

Nice one !
2024 will be coming near me ....now , might not be here then though !!!

RE: Hey all - AbuelaLoca - 09-24-2017

I think I need to type up my total eclipse story in the YARC-WARPED thread! Thanks for the picture! Was it the tripod shaking or you?? LOL

RE: Hey all - sternwake - 09-24-2017

Nah, just the tripod. I was even using a shutter remote button, but the shutter itself was enouugh to shake the tripod and make them blurry.
